Melrose Mtn Hounds is a Co-Owned and Operated Kennel. 

We are located in Western North Carolina and are Co-Owned by

Shane and Lisa Beddingfield of Flat Rock, NC

and

Clint and Veronica Pace of Columbus, NC

All our dogs are UKC and AKC Registered and we even have a few that are PKC Registered Please see their pages for their pedigrees.

We have over the last 7 years started using Melrose Mountain Hounds as our kennel name.  Most of you know Clint Pace from his many years showing under the Carolinas Black and Tans Kennel name and their pride and joy "Sandhills Misty", a beautiful

Black and Tan Female that was hard to touch in her prime. 

As our lifes have changed we have moved on in many different directions as to has the kennel and the name. 

We are so excited about our future as we are planning future breeding programs and are really enjoying the success of the first cross made under the Melrose Mountain name and the second cross will be in the ring and woods soon.

We want to thank everyone for the friendship and support that has been

given to us over the last few years.  I guess that is the best part of showing

and hunting, meeting all the people that we meet and making the many

friendships that we have made.
